These Terms of Use set out the understanding between you, the reader, and Javpar Kuchyně, the publisher of javpar.com (the "Site"). By opening the Site and reading its pages you accept these terms. If any part of them is not acceptable to you, the remedy is simple: please do not use the Site.

What Javpar Kuchyně Is

The Site is an editorial collection of traditional Bohemian and Czech recipes and food writing. It exists to document and share a culinary tradition. Nothing on the Site is offered for sale, and nothing on it constitutes professional, nutritional, medical or commercial advice of any kind.

Permission to Use the Site

You are welcome to read, print and cook from the recipes for your own personal, non commercial use. That permission comes with ordinary conditions: you agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to its systems, scrape its content in bulk, or use it in any way that breaks applicable law.

Recipes Are Shared in Good Faith

Every recipe is written with care and tested in a home kitchen, but cooking is a craft, not a laboratory science. Ovens run hot or cold, ingredients differ between regions, and technique matters. You are responsible for your own results, for handling ingredients and equipment safely, and for judging whether a dish suits your own dietary needs. The Site's Disclaimer expands on this point.

Ownership of Content

The texts, recipe write ups, layout, graphics and branding of the Site belong to the publisher or are used under license. Traditional dishes themselves belong to everyone, but our particular descriptions and presentations of them are protected by copyright. You may share short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the Site; wholesale reproduction of pages without written permission is not allowed.

What We Cannot Promise

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error free or permanently available, or that every detail on every page is complete and current. We may edit, replace or remove content at any time without notice, and we may suspend the Site entirely if needed.

Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or from cooking any recipe found on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Pages on the Site may link to third party websites for reference. Those sites are outside our control, and linking to them is not an endorsement. Their content and their terms are their own responsibility.

Updates to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The revision date above shows when the current version took effect, and using the Site after a revision means you accept it. Meaningful changes will simply appear on this page; we do not maintain mailing lists to announce them.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Brazil, and any dispute arising from them or from use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city of São Paulo, SP.
